I had such an amazing time a couple weeks ago spending a weekend in Cali with these girls here!!! The start of Summer, us girls kept talking about how fun it would be to do a “girls only” trip and since we are all poor and couldn’t go somewhere super exotic, we chose to go to California so we could be near the ocean. We all LOVE the beach. I mean, who doesn’t? Unfortunately, not all the girls from our group were able to make it but that’s ok because there will be many more trips in the future.
I was going to go day by day and write about what we did but since I ended up making a video, I felt like that would just be too repetitive. So if you want to see everything we did, check out our video!
However, I did want to talk a little bit about friends for a minute. Growing up, I was never that girl that had a solid group of girlfriends. I’d have one or two, here and there but I always remember being envious of the girls that had many friends. Moving here to Arizona, has been an incredible experience for more reasons than one, but one of the main reasons being the good friends we’ve made. All of our husbands, except one girl (Brandi.. we adopted her and her husband into our Dental Family haha) are all dental students and are all in the same year. I remember meeting each of the girl and noticing how fast we all became friends. We are all away from our families so it is nice to depend on our friendships. These friends are family. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them all and I couldn’t be more grateful to finally have a group of girlfriends! We have a little less than 2 years left at Midwestern University and it makes me so sad to think how fast time is going by because I know we will all be going our separate ways. I know we will stay friends for life though because like I said, these friends are family. Anyway, sorry for all the mushy stuff but there aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am for these girls and the relationships that we have. Here’s to many more girl trips!!
